Day of Mourning

Day of Mourning

On April 28, we commemorate the people whose lives have been lost and whose lives have been changed by workplace injury, illness and death.

In Alberta last year, 165 workers died on the job. They leave behind families, friends, co-workers and communities.

The International Day of Mourning is a day for us to pause, to mourn those who have died, and to commit to fighting like hell for the living.

An Injury to One is an Injury to All.
